Kyoto Kimono has a wonderful selection of wedding, tea ceremony and everyday kimonos. As well as Haori and Michiyaki Jackets, Obi, bolts of fabric, bundles of kimonos and custom made kimonos.
Their prices seem really reasonable. And the bundles of fabric and kimonos would be great for making new clothing and purses out of.

Today as I was scanning the internet for something to write about, I came across this beautiful cream lace wedding dress over at Past Perfect Vintage Clothing. The dress is from the late 1930's. And is quite a bargain at $275! If you were able to find a similiar dress, which is highly unlikely, on a different website they would probably be selling it for four times this price. To find a dress of this era, in a reasonable size (36" Chest, 27" Waist and 44" Hips), with a floral wax tiara and in such great condition is a rarity!
Allyn Scura has a mind boggling selection of vintage eyewear. They sell antique, vintage and custom frames.
I compared their prices to those of a leading hip optical store in Portland and found that Allyn Scura frames are about a quarter of their price.
Something to remember when buying vintage frames on-line or anywhere for that matter, is that a lot of opticans don't want to deal with vintage frames because they are more fragile than new frames. So it is important to know of someone who has experince working with vintage frames. On Allyn Scura's website they have an "Optican Network Page" which lists opticans who are willing to work with vintage frames.
Allyn Scura participates in several shows a month in California and they will be coming to Oregon in July to the Palmer Wirf's Antique Show at the Portland Expo Center.
