Today on the way to work I walked past Buffalo Exchange (which I often do on my way to work). I try hard not to get sucked into the store, because I don't need anything. When I was passing by today I saw this Nesting Doll necklace in the window on a mannequin. I was trying to will myself to keep walking but, instead I turned around and went into the store. I bought it along with another necklace (the nesting doll necklace is new and comes with a pair of golden bow earrings, check your local Buffalo Exchange to purchase)...
Betsey Johnson white plastic scalloped heart necklace with rhinestone inlay. I am not a fan of gold- so, I think I'll probably end up switching the chains on the necklaces out for a ribbon or something else.
I took these photos in the fitting room at my store where there is yellow, brown and black tile; and colorful birdcage curtains from Urban Outfitters. I am wearing a new shrug, a newer knit top from Anthropologie with ric-rac detail, a newer black skirt with red and purple embroidered flowers, a vintage red crinoline peaking out from underneath, newer black lace knee-his, newer black suede pumps with flower detail, and my vintage red umbrella with yellow bakelite handle.
Bill Cunningham New York opens today in Portland at the Living Room Theaters. The kind people at Zeitgeist Films sent me two promotional posters as well as lots of postcards for the movie. I had seen the preview for this movie at the local theater and was super excited to see it. So, it was wonderful to get the promotional ephemera for it. If you live here in town stop by and pick up a postcard.
