Fashion Fridays Flashback! Lulu's Powder Blue Winter Coat

I thought that I would mix things up here on Fridays by occasionally sharing photos of me dressed in vintage and vintage inspired outfits from the past...

This vintage powder blue coat with fleecy collar and cuffs was one of my favorites. It was perfect for staying warm and stylish in the snow!

My coat is similar in style to the one on this Matthew Sweet "Girlfriend" album cover. By the way this album is fabulous, I used to listen to it over and over again.

I first saw this coat  when I visited Ang at Dorothea's Closet Vintage in Des Moines last year. It reminded me a lot of my coat. I have intended to write about ever since I saw it but, I never have until now. Unfortunately, this coat is on layaway and therefore is no longer for sale.
