Manly Mondays! SCORE - Complete Original NES - 1 Up!

 
Hello Readers!  This is your guest blogger Chris here to share that unique "manly" perspective, this time on juvenile electronic entertainment.  Recently, I have had a yearning to play my Nintendo that I have had since I was a kid.  I've been adding to my game collection over the past few years, purchasing them at stores here and there.  Unfortunately, I haven't able to track down all of the cords for my system to work.  I would need to dig through our storage unit and find the cords if I wanted to play.  That got me down - until today!

This morning, at an undisclosed resale store here in the Pacific Northwest, I found a Zapper gun for Nintendo.  The girl in the store knew I meant business when she asked if I was going to go Duck Hunting.  Soon enough, I thought. 

Just an hour later at a different undisclosed retail store here in the Pacific Northwest, I found the ultimate - a complete Nintendo System with two game controllers, the much needed AC adapter that I was missing, video cords, Zapper gun, and Super Mario Brothers / Duck Hunt!  I also snagged a couple of other games including Super Mario Brothers 2, Super Mario Brothers 3, and Q*bert!  I couldn't believe my luck! 

When I asked the store attendant if the game system had been tested he said, "Oh yeah.  I'm in charge of testing the electronics.  In fact, a bunch of us were just in back playing Duck Hunt."
