Hamilton Wood Type Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin

After visiting the Kohler Arts & Design Centers we headed North to Two Rivers where we stopped and visited the Hamilton Wood Type Museum. Jim Moran, the printer/archivist of the museum, showed us around and even demonstrated a unique wood block type cutting machine. Chris and I loved the posters that they had reprinted from old blocks and we also enjoyed looking at all of the different font styles. My twin brother and me will be traveling to Appleton, Wisconsin for business on Monday the 30th and a group of us designers will be traveling over to Two Rivers to visit the museum. Can't wait!! My twin brother and me have been creating collector sports, city and corporate prints since 1990 using California Job Cases and wooden type. Check us out at www.smashgraphix.com. Have a great day
