I love all things vintage, and have created a modern version of a 1950's kitchen in my house. I even have vintage fruit/vegetable crate labels on the wall. I would love to have this book for more inspiration.

OMG! My boyfriend and I are so in love with vintage design! He got a towel for Christmas that was based on a vintage towel that has a hula girl with the year's calendar - apparently it's just like the ones in the collection his grandma had! How cool is that?
Plus, aprons are teh s**t!
This book looks freakin' awesome!

Ohhh! Nothing says home like a kitchen that makes you think of grandma. And somehow? Amassing vintage linen feels like a solid savings plan, not hoarding. Work with me here.

I love those old kitchen towels that NEVER leave lint on the crystal you have washed by hand and so carefully dry! The embroidery is just the BEST!

4 years ago, I was given a vintage apron as a hostess gift. I knew at that point that there was no turning back. Great book!

Oh I would love to have this book. Just looking at your pictures makes me think of linens we had when I was growing up. Now, I just need to see if my mom has kept any of these.

I've just recently discovered how popular retro/vintage kitchen and other linens have become.
It is such a joy to see, as it brings back such warm, cozy feelings...of childhood. A simpler, lovelier time. I'm thrilled! :o)

I just began collecting vintage linens, tea towels and aprons the past few years. I love the way that they smell when you first find a new treasure. I often wonder who they belonged to and the stories that they could tell. I have always had a dream of using vintage hankies in my wedding... (soon I hope) and have been collecting them for some time now. I think this book would be a great inspiration and a way for me to learn a little more about vintage goodies.
Great blog. Thank you.

I'm an old soul - I have loved vintage kitchen linens since I was a teenager. I bought a handmade doll at a flea market in MS in the 70's - her dress is made of the prettiest embroidered kitchen towel - it's gorgeous & I still cherish it to this day.
