Vintage Olympics Souvenirs

For the past several weeks I have been scrounging through my vintage stock and personal collections doing summertime cleaning, while also preparing for a huge flea market type sale that my mom and I are going to have.
Yesterday I was up in our attic when I came across this never worn early 1970's White Stag-Speedo Racing Suit brand new in it's box. According to the hang tag the suit was "Once again selected for the United States in both the 1971 Pan American and 1972 Olympics"
You can purchase this Size 34 swimming suit for $80- over at Lulu's Vintage

I had the stars and stripes Speedo bathing suit! Everyone at the pool had to have it! It was the beginning of super weird tan lines, as I recall you could tan thru the white stars!
Thanks for bringing up a childhood memory that was long forgotten.

Wow! That would be really cool to have star pattern tan areas! -Lulu
